Finished and assembled by hand in Madrid, they clip easily over standard buttons without damaging the garment.

What is a button cover?

It’s a decorative accessory that fits over a button to change the look of a garment without sewing or replacing the original button. Our models have a metal mechanism that attaches to the button, so you can put them on and take them off to create different looks.

Do they work on any shirt?

Not all of them; it depends on the button. Before buying, measure the diameter of your garment’s buttons and compare it with the mechanism diameter shown on the product page of the model you’ve chosen. The small size is ideal for shirts and blouses, and the large size for jackets or coats.

What size should I choose?

Halfmoon button covers are available in small and large. Cup button covers are available in large only.

Small: 1.5 cm in diameter, with a 1.2 cm mechanism.

Large: 3.5 cm in diameter, with a 1.5 cm mechanism.

To choose, look at the mechanism diameter: it should match the size of your garment’s button.

Are they sold in pairs or individually?

They’re sold in pairs of the selected size, not individually.

What are they made of, and how should I care for them?

The decorative part is 3D-printed in Silk PLA, a plant-based bioplastic, and the mechanism is made of stainless steel. To keep the finish looking its best, we recommend removing them before washing the garment and avoiding contact with water, perfume or chemicals.
